Dear Christian church, lovely Bride, I would like to address you.  We are now entering a new era in this world, where we cannot avoid speaking of politics, and we can no longer just speak to one isolated people group and not be heard by others.  What we say in one place can be heard around the world in one day.  I want to ask you to think from your other colors that your body of Christ is made up of, and ask that you would seek to speak from the only truly good and righteous political perspective: as a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, not of any earthly country.

Please, my friends, in this world where it is now impossible to avoid talking about politics and world events and where we need to come together in prayer, can we try to speak and pray as if the Kingdom of God isn’t all one color of people?  And because his precious body doesn’t agree on politics of this earth, let us rise above these things to pray not from our earthly perspective, but from our Heavenly perspective.  We are all citizens of heaven if Jesus is our Lord.  Let us cling to that citizenship as we live and speak.  That citizenship unifies all of the beautifully colored people God created, breaks down offenses.  That kingdom has not enslaved anyone, hasn’t cheated or stolen anything, but it has been the standard of justice and freedom.  Please, dear body, let us speak and pray from this political view.
